This lantern is for 100W tubular high-pressure sodium lamps, and features a deep polycarbonate bowl. This bowl is adhered to the reflector to produce a sealed unit, rivalling Urbis' ZX2/3 lanterns which ruled the roads in the UK alongside the Arc 80/90. This lantern is just a few months older than me, making it 21 years old in 2025.
As the Zodion SS6 Cell is quite a recent addition, having replaced an older cell at some point past 07/2018.
The NEMA socket dates to 12/2003.
The underside of the lantern is embossed with Industria's logo. We can also see from this angle that the lantern was post-top mounted when in service.
The gear is situated under the canopy towards the rear of the lantern. The ballast possesses an exact date of production: the 31st of January 2004.
An ItalFarad 12μF capacitor sits in a vertical position next to the optic.
The lamp is situated with its base at the front of the lantern.
