The CU Phosco P852K is the modernised, improved design of the older Phosco P852. This P852K was given to me by fellow collector AgentHalogen_87. It's a very nice example, and appears to be virtually brand new - it may have never been used. I've placed my P852 and P852K together in the below images, providing a nice comparison. The P852K is actually slightly larger than the P852.
Time to take a look at the P852K on its own! The lantern is spotless, only a few small chips in the paint exist around the spigot.
The serviceability is generally better than the P852, this picture demonstrates how the lantern opens during servicing, and the top section can be taken off by unhooking the hinges.
Being nearly unused (if at all), the P852K fired up with no problems. The first image demonstrates the excellent cut-off light distribution, allowing very little if no light upwards.
