This lantern series is very common in Wales and Warwickshire, but this one's original location is unknown. It is the first lantern of the Aspect series in the collection, and currently the only one as of September 2025. It is in good condition overall, and works without a hitch.
The LED board is populated with 12 LEDs.
Some warning labels are suck to the underside of the lantern, one of these revealing the ingress-protection rating to be IP66.
A distinctive feature of the Aspect series is the TRT logo on the spigot, this is also present on the Thorlux Starbeam version.
A NEMA socket is installed on top. The metal clip for opening the access hatch can also be sighted.
Inside is a compact layout, wiring for the photocell connection - as well as the mains and a power selector are immediately visible.
This Aspect Eco is set to 19W, but power-consumptions down to 10W and up to 35W are also optional.
There are numerous date-compasses located around the lantern, revealing that the body was cast in March of 2020.
The driver is situated on the underside of the tray inside.
The Aspect Eco was powered on not long after its entry into the collection.
