This S-Line isn't in great condition. It was discovered lying on the ground down a footpath. It was also missing it's spigot, which it was supplied with when it entered the collection. This example seems to have the "half-dim" problem which many of these lanterns face. The cause is not known, but the issue appears to be with the LED board itself.
Apart from small amounts of corrosion, and some paint chips, the optic area of the lantern appears undamaged.
The lens features a February 2021 date-code.
The spigot has a November 2023 date-code, but it does not have anything to do with this lantern as this spigot came from my collection.
Inside the lanterns are more date-codes, the first of these referring to March of 2021.
The driver is situated toward the left-hand side of the lantern.
This view of the lantern lit showcases the faulty LED board. Living in an area where these are the most common LED lantern, I've seen many examples fail in such a way. The dimmer LED board does make this a nice room light, and I do use it as such from time-to-time.
