This GEC Z5590 was a relatively-cheap purchase from eBay, probably due to it's lack of a bowl. The canopy and reflector appear to have been part-restored by the previous owner, and a lamp-holder was supplied but the bracket it is fitted to is too long to fit in the lantern, and it will need to be cut down or a new one sourced. The seal also needed some new adhesive along one side which was done during photographing.
It will also need a new dome refractor.
The lantern is empty inside, but the bracket which would support the lamp-holder would be attached via the two screws inside. This lantern should prove an interesting rainy day project when I have all of the pieces for it.
GEC's logo is present on the body of the lantern, and with it being top-entry, a grub-screw is located right at the top.
