This 2600 is unique in that it was originally SON, but I've since converted it to an 80W mercury example using a spare ballast. The lantern came with about 1 metre of a concrete Stanton 1805 column, which was later used with my Thorn Gamma 6. The lantern itself is in great condition considering it's age, and the old SON gear is now situated on my spares shelf.
The below images showcase the lantern before and after its lamp-swap. Notice the 19/02/2002 date written on the tray. This is likely the original installation date.
The ballast I chose to install was this dormant Philips BHL 80 L32, which had been sitting on my spares shelf for quite a while.
Fitted atop the grubby canopy is a Zodion SS6.8 photocell.
The photocell is dated to November 2011.
