This 2600 can accept 50W-70W SON-T lamps, but is wired for 50W SON-T. For its age, it is in great condition, and the inside is immaculate. While it was cleaned inside, this was not really necessary, and was more a process undertaken for reassurance that there were no creepy crawlies left in there. It was mounted post-top when in service, evident by the hexagonal spigot piece.
The canopy is fitted with a Solar Enterprise LTD NEMA socket.
Inside, the lantern is remarkably clean.
The sticker is faded to obscurity nowadays:
...But the warning and wiring-instructions stickers still have very apparent writing on them.
Arguably the most important sticker for a collector is a date-sticker, and on this example, despite the ink having faded slightly, it is largely intact, and still easily readable.
The gear looks to be all original, as all components date to before the date-sticker's date. The ignitor is dated to January of 1994, the Capacitor to October of 2003, and the ballast is expected to conform to a similar time-frame, despite not having any obvious dates on it.
