This wallpack as one of seven left over from a replacement scheme on the Ken Adam Building in Iver, Buckinghamshire. There are no dates anywhere on the luminaire, or its instructions, but the old postage label on the box is dated to 23/06/2021 - meaning the bulkhead probably dates to 2020 or 2021.
The wallpack was packed very well, sitting within two foam cut-outs.
The bulkhead is very well-made, it features a sturdy aluminium body and a thick glass refractor lens. This glass features an opal colouring to effectively diffuse light and reduce glare, but it appears clear ones are also produced.
Two screws keep the front of the lantern fixed to the back, with the hinges located on the opposite side.
These hinges are engineered in a way which allows the door to be removed simply by lifting it, and disconnecting the wires from the twin connector on the left-hand-side of the lantern.
I have never seen this before, but the lantern boasts a built-in spirit level! I do know that American luminaires feature this quite often, but European ones tend not to.
The back of the bulkhead possesses an identification sticker, and several screw-to-remove cable-entry points.
The LEDs sit beneath the opal glass cover, and can be accessed by removing the screws around the perimeter of the door section on the inside.
This bulkhead is probably my brightest, producing 4800lm.
