The Claro 1 lantern is a significant part of Schréder's history, as it is part of the first range of LED lanterns they developed in 2010. The Claro 1 incorporates an LEDSafe® optic (the successor to the revolutionary SealSafe® optic). These lanterns are no-longer sold by Schréder, and are relatively rare over here in the UK. This one was used on a job site, but the exact location it was used is not known.
These could be sold with a "compact photoelectric cell", and as this cell is likely original, this is what you got!
The photocell is a Zodion microMINI Pro - 35lux.
Three screws on top can be undone to open the driver-area.
An exact date of production is visible in the bottom-right corner of the sticker.
A TCI DC MAXIJOLLY HV driver is installed on a small tray in this area.
The LEDSafe® optic can be removed via the loosening of three screws on the underside of the lantern.
There are 28 LEDs in the optic. These lanterns have a similar structure to the Advanced LEDs Marlin when it comes to the LEDs - and indeed, both lanterns were from the same time-period. Only the bottom two LED positions are populated, the top one does not have an LED on any of the segments.
The lantern came with a plug on it, so powering it up was just a matter of plugging it in and testing it - The unoccupied LED positions are apparent when the lantern is switched on:
