This asset was collected from Loughborough on the 11/05/2025. It's unknown what lamp it ran when it was in service, or where exactly it was located. It boasts a fairly unique bracket, made for the corner of a building with a very short outreach. Sadly the refractor on this example is cracked, but it still remains strong.
The odd bracket has four holes which would be used for bolting the installation to a wall.
ELECO's logo (as well as an "across road" directional arrow) is embossed into the lanterns canopy.
A simple clip-and-hinge mechanism locks the bowl securely to the canopy. Surprisingly, the gasket seal has barely any degradation, although this could be a newer refurbishment to the lantern. The incredibly simplistic structure of the lantern is visible below, with nothing but a lamp-holder (one of my own spares as it didn't come with one) inside. Notice both "HW-852" and "HW-853" are printed onto the body, this is due to the fact both of those lanterns used the same body; only the refractor differentiated them.
The refractor sits in the bowl ring, and is held in place by three metal grips. One of these snapped off, and the other two came undone with ease.
The lantern running it's 80W MBF/U lamp:
