WRTL (Indal) Palace Lantern Installations

The Indal Palace was a six-sided heritage lantern based on the design of the original gas lamps. The luminaire could run HID lamps such as SON or metal halide. It was later sold with 45-150W LED using Indal's RETROLED™ technology.

Chester

Some suspended Indal Palace lanterns are used around Chester to complement the city's historic architecture. These are along Foregate Street. Each is fitted with a minicell.

You can see the lanterns blend very well into the surroundings, which is exactly what heritage luminaires are meant to do!

This is lantern number 14 along Bridge Street.

This one is fitted with anti-bird spikes, some of which have fallen off.
