REVO C13285 Lantern Installations
The REVO C13285 was a small enclosed lantern made from aluminium alloy or cast iron. It featured a glass refractor bowl and reflector, finished in green (outside aluminium) and enamel white on reflective areas. They were intended for use with 100W, 150W or 200W tungsten lamps, and were top-entry.

Thanks to Mike Barford for taking me to this installation - the last of it's kind in the general area. The installation is on a building along The Hollow. While photographing, I was told by residents that it was installed to light a short stairway after someone had fallen down them in the dark many decades ago. Although disconnected, they expressed their plan to keep the installation attached to the house, and perhaps even relight it one day.
It appears to have been painted black, but some of the original green paint can be seen underneath in places.
It would have been fed from this Wardle box, which may have had a time clock inside.
