The Philips BDP103 (also sold by Signify, and also known as the TOWNGUIDE PERF CLASSIC T) is one of five different shapes of the TownGuide Performer LED lantern range. They measure 571mm in diameter, and feature a choice of LED light sources, optics, and colour temperatures of: 2700K, 3000K, 4000K. They were intended for use in:  industrial areas, parking areas, petrol stations, airports, harbours, public transport areas, connecting footpaths.

A few Philips BDP103 luminaires are located around the City Walls. I think they complement the area quite well.

The metal support spine is visible through the clear bowl. Interestingly the bowl is not just the cone section, but also spreads out at the top as the LEDs cover most of the lantern's hat.
