DesignPlan Mission Lantern Installations

The DesignPlan Mission is a vandal-resistant luminaire with an impact rating of IK16 (150J) and an IP rating of IP65. These sleek linear fittings are designed specifically for transport environments and community & public applications. Multiple lengths are available, as well as corner-mounts for subways.

Derby

Due to this luminaire being designed for areas of transport, their inclusion in Derby Station was no surprise. The ones here run fluorescent lamps.

This close-up allowed me to see these were running T5 lamps. Such thin lamps in such bulky fittings does look quite funny, but the holes either side of the lamp-holder suggest these could run twin or triple lamp setups.
