SUGG Decorative Small Globe Lantern Installations

This is one of many types of bespoke Globe lantern by William SUGG Lighting. They feature six panels per hemisphere, but I cant find any information on these lanterns online - so how exactly these hemispheres fit together is unknown. They appear to be smaller versions of these, made for column-mounts, and it's possible they were made specifically for this location.

London

The location in question is Charing Cross Tube Station, where four of these post-top globes stand proud on the perimeter of the Eleanor Cross landmark. You can see a Large Decorative Globe in the background.

It appears the tired-looking globe is made from opal polycarbonate, due to the yellowing that has occurred. I hope these stylish globes get refurbished.

William SUGG's logo is present on the underside of the globe, on a panel which appears to open for servicing whatever light source is inside.
