Philips SGS113 Lantern Installations
These were common bulkheads by Philips, able to run 50W-70W SON, or 50W-70W CDO-TT lamps. They were designed for pavement, garden, or pathway lighting, and had the ability to be mounted on a wall, or laterally with a bracket. These are no-longer sold today, and replacement schemes and upgrades are leaving them in declining numbers.

These examples were spotted off Queen Street, mounted on the walls and canopy of a building. This first example shows one used in its ceiling-mounted option. Some debris exists on the inside of this ones polycarbonate cover.
The two wall-mounted ones I photographed have seen significant yellowing of their covers, and the bowl has gone brittle. The first one is cracked, perhaps due to general weather exposure, heat stress or vandalism.
The second one is in better condition, and has less yellowing.
