CU Phosco P861 Lantern Installations

The CU Phosco P861 is a very reliable LED lantern designed for use on A-Roads, and motor ways. These are part of CU Phosco's "King of the Road" series, being the second-largest lantern in it. Being light-weight, and having such a low-profile, maintenance and installation is very easy, and a tool-free access allows for quick, on-site repairs.

Stoke-on-Trent

These newly-installed P861s line the A500 through Stoke, along with a few other lanterns from the same series, such as the P862 and P863. This example replaced an Urbis Sapphire 3, which used to line this part of the road in great numbers.

Break-away chains are fitted to the lanterns here.

Some twin-arms supporting P861s are now located along the A500, where the A52 bridge passes overhead.

All of the P861s here are fitted with Datek Light Controls.
