CU Phosco P567A Lantern Installations

The P567A by CU Phosco was an adaption of the earlier GRP-canopied P567. This version had an aluminium canopy (hence the "A" suffix) and was also able to accept post-top mounting options, whereas the P567 could not. Most of these lanterns ran SON-T lamps or metal halide lamps, but the lanterns could also be fitted with LEDs.

Long Eaton

These CU Phosco P567As were spotted outside of the Sawley Convenience Store on Wilmot Street, long Eaton. There are two in total.

Loughborough

Among the earlier P567s, Loughborough supports loads of P567As. Interestingly, a decent percentage of these are the rarer flat-glass (cut-off) variant. These examples are on the grounds of Staveley Court.

Tamworth

A rare (and slightly strange looking) lantern, of the four known examples in Tamworth, two are privately owned. This one isn't however; it is located on Croft Close, Two Gates.

From this angle you can see the SON 70W lamp inside, however, it doesn't work. It leaves the street in perpetual darkness for the long winter nights.

Another non-working example of this lantern exists on Meredith Court, Gillway.
