Coughtrie Ultralux 400 Lantern Installations

This is Coughtrie's most robust and durable bulkhead - this is reinforced by the optional inclusion of a die-cast aluminium guard, cowl or visor guard. The bulkhead is rated incredibly highly, with an impact-resistance rating of IK10++, and an ingress-protection rating of IP65. It is now available to run: 2x36W fluorescent, 28W 2D, 38W 2D, 18W LED, 25W LED, 32W LED, 46W LED or 57W LED - but older versions could accommodate discharge lamps such as SON.

If I recall correctly, these lanterns are located nearby to The Gherkin, lighting a small enclosed alleyway. The Ultralux 400 is a good bulkhead for this application, being highly vandal-resistant. I believe these run discharge lamps.

These have the semi-recessed body, despite the fact that they sit on the surface.
