Urbis Axia Lanterns Installations
Tamworth Town Centre
The Urbis Axia 1 is an exceptionally rare lantern here in Tamworth, though its use in wider Staffordshire is a bit more common. Only one known Axia 1 exists here, lighting up a pedestrian bridge over the river Tame. It was a replacement for a failed SON WRTL Vectra. It is mounted on a 10m hinged column which is installed on ground level.

A closer look shows each of the 6 LED modules. Each supports 8 LEDs for a total of 40.
