SUGG B'Ham Globe Lantern Installations

As far as I know, these globes only exist in Birmingham City Centre, around historical buildings. I can't find any reference of their catalogue number or official name, so I'm dubbing them the "B'Ham Globe". They appear to be some top-entry variant of the classic globe, but the style is much different so they may have been made specifically for Birmingham, something William SUGG was known to do for some areas.

These lanterns have taken me 9 months to identify (narrow down the manufacturer). They are all located in Birmingham, believed to have been specially made for this area. They used to run SON 150, but nowadays most have been retrofitted or have had new lanterns identical in design installed. Here are a few pictures from early 2023, when they ran CityWhite and SON lamps before the retrofits:

Some more un-retrofitted examples were spotted just after Christmas of 2024.

I decided to wing some close-ups at the time in hopes to identify the lanterns. This worked a treat as the SUGG logo is visible on one of them.
