REVO C14407/T Lantern Installations
The REVO C14407/T was the 60W-200W tungsten, top-entry, enclosed lantern in the REVO Bell-top series. Their tiny size meant they never had an integral gear, as the lantern only had room for the lamp, refractor (if it was a version that had one), and if you were lucky, a photocell unit. This version -being tungsten- did not need a gear.
Fazeley
Well this was a surprize! I was out photographing lanterns around the Fazeley area when I stumble across a privately owned installation of a REVO C14407/T (bell-top) lantern. It looks to be on an original
REVO cast-iron column.
Amington, Tamworth
In early 2024, an example was spotted along the canal running through Amington. This tungsten example is privately owned, although this probably was a street light from around the area before the concretes were installed.
A cable-tie is seen keeping this one closed.
