Holophane V-Max II Lantern Installations

This lantern is the successor to the original V-Max, featuring a revised design and increased durability. Unlike it's older counterpart, the V-Max II is hinged at the top, so both the chevrons and door move to access the driver-compartment. There are six versions of the V-Max II on the market: V1 for 8W-78W, V2 for 24W-160W, V3 for 35W-225W, V4 for 40W-300W, V5 for 55W-350W or V6 for 61W-411W LED.

Some V-Max II lanterns are installed on 10m columns along Watling Street. This is column E30, having been installed in 2024:

The lantern kept briefly switching on, and then off again at seemingly-irregular intervals. I managed to capture it switched on, but with such a short time to capture the image, getting it to focus was near impossible:
