Thorn Gamma 7 Lantern Installations

The Gamma 7 by Thorn Lighting was a tiny, cylindrical, post-top lantern designed specifically to be used with the Thorn QCG7 5m aluminium column. This sleek combination would be an early take on the newer light stacks. As a consequence of their tiny size, any gear would have had to be located in the column's base. The Gamma 7 could run 50W-70W SON-E, 80W MBF, or 100W GLS, with the lamp being situated in a vertical position within the IP23 lantern.

This Gamma 7 is located on a school grounds off Fox Hollies Road. Only one now remains, but once-upon-a-time, at-least two more existed. Both of these are long-gone, one is just a spigot and lamp-holder, the other column is gone entirely.
