Thorlux Juno Lantern Installations
This stylistic luminaire was the original Juno by Thorlux. They came with a few options to enhance their looks, including a cone, or semi-spherical canopy, a flat-toughened safety glass or deep polycarbonate bowl. They could come with four mounting options: single pole-mount, twin pole-mount, spigot adaptor, or wall-mount. These could run 57W TC-T, or 70W-250W SON-T/MBI-T lamps.
Stoke-on-Trent
There are many of these fixtures installed along South Wolfe Street. Most exist on Thorlux JUN 12032 twin-lantern brackets, but some are also mounted on JUN 12031 single-lantern brackets.
This day-burning example provided quite a nice view of the lantern's sticker. These lanterns are also interesting in that they have what are essentially floodlight optics in them, and this makes sense as these are the "area" version. "Roadway" versions had more familiar oval optics within.
These are the second-closest lanterns to the camera.
The single-arm lanterns surround the front of Stoke Library.
I pictured the closest example of the single lanterns:
This angle provided a great side-profile of the twin-arm lanterns. The day-burning example can still be seen on the bottom left.
