SUGG Bomber Command Memorial Lantern Installations
The Bomber Command Memorial in The Green Park Honours 55,573 crew members of the Bomber Command who lost their lives in WW2. William SUGG was nominated with the task of lighting the memorial, taking into account the historical significance of the memorial and modern energy standards. One of the designs that was produced was this enormous bespoke lantern featuring twin optics for the Piccadilly side of the memorial.

I visited these in the summer of 2025. These two are installed on concrete pillars which highlight the entrance to The Green Park.
Both optics are clearly visible through the glass panels.
Some of them are also mounted on columns. You can really get a sense as to how large these things are with the image below:
The mid-left-hand panel here appears to be the door to access the inside of the lantern for lamp-changes.
