SUGG 8-Panel Globe Lantern Installations

This type of globe lantern can be found online here, referred to as the 8-Panel Globe. Originally, they were installed on ironwork atop pillars, but they were stored away in WW2 when the ironwork was (presumably) melted down and used for the ongoing war effort. A subsequent refurb of the lanterns by SUGG saw them used from 1972-1974 onwards to light the road leading to an underground car park.
