Simplex Anina Lantern Installations
As far as I can see, there is no evidence of this street light lantern anywhere online as of August 2025. It took a while to find one with the sticker intact enough to see, but they have now been identified as the "Simplex Anina". Their Cat.No. was either the CB-70 for 70W SON, or CB-100 for 100W SON, and they had an IP23 rating for the gear-area, and IP54 for the lamp-area. The Anina was also sold by Chalmit Lighting.

This CB 70 is installed on the wall of a building near the Aston Library. This was the first time I'd seen this fixture, and so the mystery began!
This one appears to be a Simplex Chalmit example, and is also fitted with a Zodion photocell
Great Western Close is home to two CB-70 lanterns, one is behind a fence, but I presume this was once a council-owned road due to the SRL8s that also exist here. I was informed by the security guard that these have not worked in several years. The lack of radio-nodes could indicate this road was no longer under council ownership by the time Birmingham started using radio-nodes, between 2016-2017.
This is the first example on the road, and it exists outside the barriers.
Nothing is visible on this sticker.
Three CB-70s exist around the Shrubbery Close housing estate. The first two are on Churchover Close.
The next example has it's bowl undone. It has been like this since at least November 2024.
This does allow for an unobstructed view of the optic compartment in the CB-70. Two mirror-reflectors wrap around the front and sides of the compartment, as well as a reflector positioned above the lamp. This reflector is quite corroded nowadays, but it was entirely white to begin with.
The sticker on this one is faded to unreadability.
The final one is installed at the side of 4 Oldacre Close.
The back of this one is wrapped in insulation tape - presumably the fibreglass around the screw has snapped, causing the fixture to swing open.
Not much other than a "70" for the CB-70 code exists on the sticker.
This precarious CB-70 was spotted on a building in Parkway Industrial Estate. Comparing these to the earlier wall-mounted example indicates that (at least the CB-70) may have been sold for security lighting, and this purchase came with a wall-bracket.
Several CB-100s are installed around Wardend Road estate. 100W SON is a more unusual choice for 6m, but it isn't unheard of. This example is one of many along Northleigh Road. It is installed on column 18.

Column 23 was photographed as well:
Birmingham's installations of these lanterns see them often installed alongside WRTL SRL8s, creating a good comparison between them. Below is a comparison of one of the SRL8s on this estate, vs one of the Chalmit Aninas.
The CB-100 pictured above is this one, atop column 28 of Wardend Road.
Very little lettering is visible on this lantern's sticker...
...But this cannot be said for the next example! Right opposite is Column 1 of Northleigh Road. The squashed bollard to the bottom left has been there for a while. It can be seen knocked over on Google Maps in 2022.
You can click to enlarge the below images, But I've also reconstructed the sticker based on all of the information visible on the images of these lanterns.
