Se'lux Ovalis 650 Lantern Installations
The Ovalis 650 was the medium-sized lantern in the Ovalis series by Selux. The 650 was named as-such as it is 650mm long, and 126mm tall. The Ovalis 650 could run 60W-90W cosmopolis, 70W-150W metal halide, or 70W-150W tubular high-pressure sodium. These lanterns were side-entry or post-top (with the inclusion of a separate post-top spigot).
Birmingham
Off Park Street are these metal-halide-running Selux Ovalis 650s. They are used to light a footpath to Curzon Street.
This example seems to have some dirt ingress within the lens.
