Ovia Lighting Gator Lantern Installations

Ovia Lighting's Gator is a reliable and robust LED lantern available in power-consumptions of: 20W, 40W, 65W, 100W or 135W. Their high IP rating of IP66, coupled with an impact-resistance rating of IK10, makes them ideal for harsh areas such as those that suffer high-vandalism. The 20W & 40W versions are 55.5cm long, the 65W & 100W versions are 61.5cm long, and the 135W version is 67.5cm long. They have an LED lifetime of 50000 hours - around 12-14 years of nightly operation.

Lichfield

This example of the Ovia Gator was installed on a 5m column on a footpath off Smithfield Rise. It replaced a damaged Atlas Gamma 6.

I do quite like how these lanterns look - indeed I will be ordering one for the collection at some point. I believe this is a 20W example - making it the smallest of the Gator series.
