The Metcraft Cromwell Size 2 was the medium-sized Cromwell lantern. Mounting options include: a decorative frog, a flat base, a cast base, or top-entry via the finial. These can run a wide-range of lamp-types which included: 45W-140W CPO, 50W-70W HPS or MH, or 11W-57W PLL. LED versions are also now on the market and can produce 1055lm-4500lm.

These Size 2 Cromwells are located on Marlborough Road, near Buckingham Palace. They are replacements for some of London's ancient SUGG gas lanterns. Metcraft also refurbed the street lights along The Mall, which this road joins directly to.

These run CPO lamps, likely 45W.

Countless Cromwell Size 2s are located along Whitehall. These appear to have been retrofitted to LED and refurbed in recent years, but they were likely SON or CDO-TT originally.
