ELECO HW-745 Lantern Installations

ELECO's HW-745 was a side-entry, 90W SOX lantern, featuring a deep acrylic bowl, and a cast-aluminium canopy. These lanterns were quite rare, as competing 90W SOX lanterns kept their numbers down. They are quite easily-identifiable due to the raised spigot-entry at the column-end of the lantern.

This abandoned installation is located on the now blocked-off Watson Road off Heartlands Parkway.

The HW745's bracket seems to be made from a conglomerate of pipe-work. One small hole is present in the front of the bowl, but other than that the lantern looks intact. A more-modern halogen flood is attached to the "bracket" - an indication the HW745 is no-longer in use.
