DW Windsor Stratum 450 Lantern Installations

Previously a SON and metal halide lantern, the Stratum 450 is the smallest Stratum lantern available for 4m-8m mounting-heights. The lantern is now only sold in LED form, producing between 2872lm-15224lm. As well as their deep bowl, they are available in flat-glass for dark sky applications.

Several installations consisting of DW Windsor Excel 500s and Stratum 450s exist along London Road. The Excel 500s take charge of lighting the main road, while the smaller Stratum 450s are responsible for lighting the footpath behind each of the columns. It appears the Stratums are mounted at roughly 5m, with the Excels being located at 10m.

A minicell is just-about visible poking over the canopy of this first example:

The sticker reveals that these are 70W SON-T examples, but the clear bowl also allows the lamp to be seen.
