This lantern is yet another design in DW Windsor's extensive Optima range. These were easily identifiable due to their cone-shaped canopy. They are known to have been available with deep polycarbonate bowls, as well as flat-glass, and used to run HID lamps such as SON or metal halide. While the Nexus 450 was the small variant, there was a larger 500 version (documented separately).
