This page features the emergency version of the 2D Designplan Quadrant. I believe only this version had the larger body, with a small access panel where the bulkhead's innards would be located. The Quadrant is still produced today, but the emergency forms do not have this larger body anymore.

Outside of a church along Strand are some abandoned public restrooms. Fitted to both the men's and ladies' entrances are two Designplan Quadrants. This first example appears to be fitted with a replacement diffuser.

This one still boats its original cover, but the cover has yellowed due to exposure to UV light over the decades.

An empty NEMA socket would have provided switching for the lights, but nowadays its only purpose is to give a rough date of installation for these lights: April 1995.
