Bulkheads from this series were also known as the Robust and Churchouse bulkhead. This page documents the Crompton 56063 Series, which features a slim body, and could accommodate: 2x8W, 3x8W, 2x13W or 3x13W fluorescent lamps. These originally made their debut in the 1970s, but were produced through the 1980s as well.

This installation is located in Ankerside. I had originally believed it to be a Coughtrie product, until I found it while looking through Crompton's catalogues.

This light may be in use no-longer, as modern LED bulkheads have been fitted elsewhere.
