1901 SUGG Lamp Lantern Installations
These lamps are made by SUGG, and are mounted atop pillars outside and around Buckingham Palace. They feature a six-sided body, with a decorative semi-spherical canopy and a crown finial on top. The lanterns themselves are still the originals, but the burners have been modernised on many occasions.

The lamps first were visited by me on a clear evening just after sunset.
I photographed one of the quintuple installations:
The following day, they were visited again. As well as the installations consisting of five lanterns, some lone lamps are installed on a few of the pillars.
A small amount of corrosion is present inside most of the lanterns.
